Longtime Yreka resident Jo Ann Gaberseck passed away February 26, 2013 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. She was 73 years old.

Jo Ann was born October 21, 1939 in Hollywood. She grew up in Southern California, but graduated from Yreka High School. Jo was a bookkeeper for many years. She operated Jo’s Gifts, selling christmas crafts and wreathes. She was a very crafty and artistic person. She also trained dogs.

Jo is survived by her husband, John Gaberseck.
